we are currently recruiting for hgv class 1 night shift hiab/adr driver to join our expanding team. as a wbps ltd driver you will safely, effectively and efficiently transport and deliver customer deliveries across the network, whilst maintaining our high standards.

reporting to the transport team, your next role will see you working in the fast moving world of our transport division. we are a vibrant and busy business operating against strict service level agreements with our customers and as such demand the highest standards from all our colleagues. you will have your route and jobs given to you in advance, however due to the reactive nature of our business we can adapt quickly to react to situations that may arise and be able to take jobs at short notice.

shift pattern for this role is rolling 4on/4off. bank holidays are included in a normal shift pattern and need to be requested as annual leave.

duties will include but are not limited to:

pre use vehicle checks on the company trucks, trailers and/or vans

correct loading/unloading of vehicles following approved company procedures

to ensure load is correctly secured using restraints to the vehicle

delivering and collecting company equipment to and from all areas of the uk

general parts collections from suppliers when necessary.

the rules on drivers hours and tachograph are observed, proper records are kept and that these are made available on request

vehicles operate within speed limits

vehicles and trailers are not overloaded

the laws relating to the driving and operation of vehicles used under wb power services ltd o licence are observed

ensure our systems is up-dated throughout your shift

to be successful you need to have a full adr licence and hiab licence
