cmg technologies are looking for a production operative to support their multi-faceted production operation in rendlesham. this is an excellent opportunity to work for an established company offering good rates of pay and career progression prospects.

rendlesham, suffolk, ip12 2tz

full time, permanent position

£9.77 per hour, with a 15% shift allowance taking it to £11.24 an hour

35 hours per week, over 4 days

cmg technologies are a renowned specialist in metal injection moulding (mim), who provide high-quality injection moulded components to the medical, aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors.

we are now looking for a production operative to assist with the production process at our premises in rendlesham.

duties will include:

the mixing and moulding of feed stocks, processing parts, using sizing presses and tapping machines. inspecting components using microscopes. loading and unloading the processing ovens and furnaces.

further training:

in due course, training will be provided to develop your skills to enable competence with the more complex elements of the production process.

key skills and attributes:

a good eye for detail. the ability to follow operational procedures. problem solving skills. good communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels within the company. good time-management and organisational skills. punctuality and reliability. ability and willingness to follow health and safety protocols. a current flt / forklift truck licence would be advantageous but not essential.

working hours:

this is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week over 4 days.

we operate a shift-working pattern and this role is allocated to the day-shift rotation, working 06:00 – 15:15 one week and 11:45 – 21:00 on the other.

the hours worked are spread over 4 days, either monday - thursday or tuesday - friday.
