we are a busy, independent take away only café and food store in highbury, north london. we pride ourselves on the quality of our coffee and our customer service.
we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic barista, café all rounder.
the main responsibilities will include making coffee to our house standards, maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring there is a welcoming atmosphere in the café. we would like a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar environment. we also serve a variety of daily salads, sandwiches and soups to take away. there is also the other side of the business to consider which is the cleaning, the unpacking of deliveries and restocking of shelves!
we are open 7 days a week and would expect a full timer to be available for 5 eight-hour shifts, which will include weekends. the role demands excellent command of english.
