Field service technicians fire safety - united states, jamestown (new york)

experienced fire safety field service technicians needed asap – syracuse and surrounding areas

we are actively looking for a few great candidates who want to join a rapidly growing company based on fire safety and protection. the field service technician will be directly responsible to perform installations and provide services to our client locations in the syracuse and surrounding area. we will train the right candidate. 

monday – friday, 1st shift.  $22-$24/hr plus full benefits. great perks. 

as the field service technician, you will report directly to the field service manager and be directly responsible for the following: 

essential duties and responsibilities:

inspect client physical premises to determine placement/installation of fire extinguishers in compliance with current fire and life safety codes

inspect all existing fire extinguishers currently on premise to ensure they are properly tagged

service existing fire extinguishers to ensure they are functional and meet all applicable codes

attach new tags to existing fire extinguishers wherever required

replace/exchange fire extinguishers wherever needed

install new fire extinguishers in areas where required by fire and life safety codes

install fire and life safety signage where required by law 

other related duties as assigned by the management team for similar life safety products and services

required skills and experience

be 18 years old or older

be vaccinated for covid-19

possess your ged, high school diploma or equivalent

be eligible to work in the united states

possess a valid, clean and current state driver’s license

be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs for extended period of time and lift at least thirty (30) lbs. 

acceptable driving record that meets with company’s auto / vehicle policies.

ability to uphold company vehicle safety policies, with a proved clean and acceptable motor vehicle record (mvr).

ability to be available when scheduled and on-call as needed, required

must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service.

must process strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
