st philip & st james is a family-run residential home. we are seeking a caring individual to join our excellent team of staff providing person-centered care to our elderly residents.
the job role:
to supervise a team of care staff to ensure they provide high-quality care and support
to be on the floor to observe care needs of residents are being met, ensuring residents are well presented and ensure documentation and records are completed correctly eg fluid charts, changing position charts etc.
to understand the medication policy and administer medication as needed.
to assist in identifying safeguarding concerns of vulnerable adults and follow the safeguarding policy as required.
promote the standards and values of st philips and st james (6cs)
to observe any changes in the resident's presentation and perform news2 obs. or delegate as appropriate.
nvq level 2 in health & social care or equivalent required.
