we are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working warehouse assistant to join our growing team. we are a company making eco-friendly detergents and other clothing care products, which we sell through our website, through amazon and to other retailers. we are growing quickly and need help managing orders in our warehouse, keeping track of our stock levels, and preparing stock for sale.
our warehouse is currently located in a rural location just off the a30. it's important therefore that candidates have their own car and a driving licence to enable them to get to the warehouse.
ideal candidates would have a diligent work ethic, interest in learning and developing their skills, should be comfortable with a degree of lifting and moving boxes, have good attention to detail to ensure that packing errors are avoided, be organised and able to follow or initiate an efficient process when packing and preparing stock, and be a great team player who’s willing to get involved and get the job done.
as time goes on, we are hopeful that you will be able to take on more responsibility, including booking in shipments online, updating inventory records, dealing with import/export issues, and other customer service.
a certain amount of flexibility with regards to shift timings will be appreciated but not essential.
