my client is the approved logistics partner for one of the uk s largest supermarket chains which has developed consolidated logistics centres in hinckley, lutterworth and doncaster. ideally located in striking distance of the key uk ports and more importantly the uk retailer warehouses.

working 24 hours a day, 363 days a year. my client moves goods into their client's on a day 1 for day 2 order lead time, seven days a week.

my client has a fleet of brand new vehicles with the right balance of economy and quality, and with multi-temperature trailers they offer the best conditions for the delivery of goods.

job role will include: average drop 10 - 15 deliveries/collections per shift with a mixture of depot and home deliveries/collections.

am shifts, 7 day a week operation. full time work available.

10-12-hour shifts on average however, it is possible to complete a 15 hour day.

cutainside vehicles.

delivery to rdc s & home delivery throughout the uk.

possible collections from the clients suppliers.

complete pod's & return them to the transport office.

ensuring goods are safely secured.

completing lgv vehicle defect and maintaining logs.

pay rates drivers

paye pay (with holiday inc) umbrella

mon - fri gbp11.50 gbp12.88 gbp15.34

what we are looking for:

a valid full category c licence (class 2) lgv c experience - new passes will be accepted.

no more than 9 points on driving licence.

no dr, in or ms90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions

minimum age 21 years due to insurance criteria

drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team.

demonstrates excellent communication skills.

have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.

able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
