Administrator - united kingdom, giffnock, glasgow

the self-direct support forum east renfrewshire is looking for a new administrator to join our team. we want someone who enjoys being part of a team and has a genuine passion to work with people. this role can include some ‘ad hoc’ duties due to the nature of it being a small charitable organisation, so flexibility is essential. although we are currently working from home, we are office-based and will return to a blended working model when we can.

main duties

management of main phone line.

management of our client database.

financial record keeping, bank transactions.

minute taking.

administrative support to manager and the team, including support to co-ordinate the information sessions and events that the forum deliver throughout the year.

admin emails and postal mail management.

accurately record new referrals and maintain filing system.

monitor and order stationery.

meet payroll deadlines for staff expenses.

ad hoc duties as required.

knowledge and skills

understanding of the key principles of self directed support and the health and social care partnership model.

basic knowledge of sage or similar.

ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

flexible and able to multi-task.

good working knowledge of microsoft applications including word, excel and powerpoint.

salary/hours: salary is £19,510.00 per anum (pro rata). office hours. this post is 25 hours per week-hours to be agreed.
