a loving, warm family is seeking a proactive, experienced nanny to join their household in kensington, london.

you will be caring for two children (b2 & b4) on a permanent weekend basis.

duties will include; establishing a healthy and varied routine, arranging and accompanying age- appropriate activities, cooking healthy and nutritious meals, homework supervision, full nursery duties (children’s laundry and ensuring their bedrooms and play areas are tidy and organised) running ad hoc errands, bath and bed routine, babysitting and generally ensuring the smooth running of the household.

you will work from saturday/sunday (8am-6pm) and share the role with a weekday nanny on residence. the ideal nanny will be discreet, hardworking and organised with an upbeat and energetic approach. the family is seeking a nanny who is genuinely passionate about caring for children, able to nurture and instil confidence as well as set boundaries when needed.

the last nanny employed spent 3 years working for the family and they are similarly seeking longterm help.

duties;


supervision of children at all times and general day to day care



keeping children’s bedrooms/nursery tidy and ensuring they have clean clothes



preparing healthy meals and snacks, feeding and cleaning up after meal times



packing for travel



arranging appointments (eg. doctor check-ups and vaccinations & record keeping, haircuts, extracurricular activities)



plan and lead educational activities including reading and assisting with homework



nursery drop offs/collections



all care pertaining to the the children.



running errands for the children ie; uniforms, shopping, nursery duties, appointments, packing



creating a warm & stimulating environment for the children



organising and accompanying the child to activities, play dates and extra-curricular activities



bath and bed routine

to be considered for this role you must;

have 5+ years’ experience as a nanny in a full-time position

have excellent contactable references



be fluent in english language



be willing travel abroad



possess a full, clean drivers license



possess (or be willing to get) an up to date dbs check



be a confident swimmer
