social service company seeks motivated individuals with a desire to help developmentally disabled adults be more independent in their daily lives. if you love to work with people and don't want a typical desk job, this is the right position for you!
this is a paid, full-time position, monday through friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. selected staff will be training adults with developmental disabilities in the community in the goal areas of work skills, community skills, and social skills.
you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, own a reliable vehicle, maintain current auto registration and insurance, have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check. those applicants that do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered for the position. college degree is a plus!
skills desired: compassion, patience, reliability, leadership, strong written and oral communication skills, teamwork mentality, and an interest in the social services field. those selected must be extremely reliable to perform consistent work on a full-time basis, monday through friday.
