Cost control engineer - saudi, saudi

Department: ensure that all project cost controls related activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. person: develop systems and procedures for cost control function (including interface with erp team during establishment / troubleshooting phase) and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. • understand cost estimates, including material, manpower, asset management & marine operation. coordinate with business development team whenever discrepancies are noticed • upload all relevant project cost and expenses data in the designated project management software with clear schedules of when the expenses are likely to be incurred • create a process of information flow with respect to each expense head (such as material, manpower, ammo, pmt ect) • monitor cost performance, generate variance / exceptions reports as and when required. present the same to project manager and obtain approval to distribute further as per matrix • be responsible to assess potential change management (internal / customer / supplier). coordinate with the project stake holders on the same job description form no.: imi-hrm-qf-ims-0-0001 rev. : 1 date : apr-21 page 2 of 3 • participate in the project review meetings and provide any cost related data as and when required by the project stake holders • updates the project budget, margin & invoices while comparing them with the baseline budgeted cost • perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by hod • maintenance activities and practices in assets of the company is an advantage. experience: bachelor’s in mechanical (electrical / controls) engineering qualifications: min 5 years (preferable similar industry or equivalent) about application process if you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome your application. to complete the application you would need the following document(s): 1. resume/cv 2. passport-size photograph
