Adecco search is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire automation technician job in urbana, oh for our client, a reputable manufacturing company. the automation tech job is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of post mold automation equipment. our client is looking for a candidate with 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities for the automation technician job in urbana, oh  include:

automation machine programming, maintenance and repair

perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems

monitor automated systems

isolate issues and repair or replace any necessary components

trouble shoot issues, determine if issue is mechanical, electrical or computer control system related

automation and plc programming

production support

create operating instructions for automation machinery

perform and document preventive maintenance

maintain spare parts inventory

continuous improvement projects

fabrication

safety and guarding installation and improvements

qualifications:

exhibit a sense of ownership in the results of the maintenance team.

above average knowledge of automation programming.

above average knowledge of electrical components.

previous mechanical experience.

basic troubleshooting ability. .
