Clinical trial physician - newcastle - united kingdom, tyne and wear

we have an exciting opportunity available as a clinical research physician at a leading clinical research organisation. this is a fantastic role for an experienced clinical trial / clinical development physician to step into a senior position with a greater level of responsibility and strategic input covering a wide range of interesting therapeutic areas and homebased flexibility.

responsibilities

act as a principal investigator in several therapeutic areas such as cns, dermatology, endocrinology, dermatology, psychiatry, gastroenterology.

work with a wide range of investigational medicinal products including atmp s sme s and specialist areas such as psychedelics

work closely with sub-investigators to maintain patient safety of participants and ensure compliance with the protocol.

work with the internal team to ensure good clinical practice is followed throughout the trial.

participate in any internal or external audits and regulatory inspections.

liaising with and develop positive relationships with sponsors

participate in discussions around study design, drug development, feasibility assessments

requirements

medical degree

gmc registered with a license to practice

3 years experience in clinical research would be ideal but not necessarily required
