Business unit: riyadh care hospital.major duties and responsibilitiesensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the nmc hospitals and clinics.nurse educators plan, design and implement curricula and arrange matter for nursing courses.  they provide general competency courses, as well as ones specialized for specific areas and follow up.they mentor and teach nursing trainee students from different institutions.they need to provide a climate of learning and encourage the development of the nursing students.work closely with the infection control coordinator in relation to educational activities regarding nursing policies specific for infection control.teach selected courses and workshops. encourage the staff in on the job training programs.  monitor nurse’s compliance with established policies and procedures to identify educational needs.act as a role model and a resource in clinical nursing practice to motivate staff to adhere to standards of patient care.identify learning needs to the new employees, provide educational activities/resources and demonstrate nursing procedures or use of equipment’s to nursing personnel on all shifts.make self-available to staff to explain clinical nursing and administrative standards.perform clinical research and evaluate nurse-training programs to see if the matter is up to the mark with other hospitals. demonstrate high standards of knowledge and skills using the nursing process and problem solving method when performing patient care. demonstrate flexibility and willingness to change as required.they need to keep track of the latest developments in the field of nursing and incorporate those changes so that the curricula follow the newest trends and changes.provide orientation to the new staff in coordination with head nurse.present a monthly report on activities to director of nursing.perform other duties assigned by the director of nursing to meet the educational needs.skillsqualification education/licensure:bachelor of science in nursing. master degree in nursing and post graduate certificate in leadership is preferred.current licensure (rn) with a nursing governing body from country of origin   professional nursing license from saudi council for health specialties              experience: 8 years of experience in nursing, and preferable with four (4) years as a nurse leader. 4 years of additional experience in nursing education after master degree.
