this role could be yours - an exciting career opportunity as guest service assistant assisting in the smooth running of the hotel operation on a day-to-day basis; providing excellent guest service and developing skills in all areas of the hotel.

shift pattern: 5 days out of 7 with 8.5 hours per shift, including weekends; a combination of early and late arrangements

key responsibilities of our guest service assistants include:

ensuring that guests receive prompt and polite attention and personal recognition always
checking-in guests with a warm welcome
checking-out guests following the guest service standards
developing rapport with hotel guests and creating a friendly and welcoming environment
serving hotel guests and visitors in our café, offering high levels of service
cleaning and polishing glassware, chinaware and equipment in the café
ensuring high levels of cleanliness and tidiness in the café and reception areas
maintaining positive communication with all colleagues

skills & experience expected of our guest service assistants:

previous experience in hospitality
good written and verbal communication skills
a positive, can-do approach
exceptional team playing skills
excellent customer service skills
the ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision
