experienced automotive mechanics needed immediately - queens, 1st shift

adecco search is currently recruiting qualified candidates for several direct hire auto mechanics for our client, a growing company that maintains large fleets of vehicles in and around the li city area. this position will prepare and repair cars, cabs, rental vehicles, etc. at our long island city location. our client offers a competitive hourly pay rate and benefits plan.

salary will be directly related to levels of experience. special consideration and higher pay rates for those experienced with repairing/maintaining evs.

responsibilities for the auto mechanics – long island city include:

we are seeking several full-time auto repair technicians to join our team.

the position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in all aspects of auto repair.

we are looking for a self-motivated, team player. please forward your resume for immediate consideration.

must be familiar with all aspects of automotive repair

ability to handle multiple projects & ability to work as a team

performs inspections on all types of vehicles and repairs systems/parts when needed

uses preventative maintenance check list to verify repairs.

repairs and inspections involve the engine, battery, lights, gauges and controls, sensitive edges, safety equipment, all interior components, transmissions, tires, breaks, undercarriage, power steering, fluids and filters and all other electrical and mechanical components.

completely document all work performed.

utilize repair manuals and parts manuals for aid in making repairs.

qualifications:

5+ or more years of automotive mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment.

special consideration and higher pay rates for those experienced with repairing/maintaining hybrids and evs.
