Escape room game hosts downtown los angeles - united states, losangeles

Escape room la is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for part time staff positions for our escape room games in downtown la. in the games, participants work together to solve clues and puzzles in a race to beat the clock before time runs out.

required experience:
• 2+ years working with the public
• theatrical or performing experience is preferred but not required.

all staff perform two job functions:

1. reception: greet participants as they arrive and check them in. explain the procedures, review the rules, and answer questions. reception staff also perform light cleaning duties and basic maintenance of room props.

2. game masters: game masters are inside rooms during games, providing hints to participants if needed, and insuring that rules are being followed. after the game, they explain to participants how to arrive at puzzle solutions. game masters set up and reset the game rooms, and insure the games run smoothly.

qualifications:

customer service experience and experience working with the public is required. we requires someone who is both very personable and outgoing, well-organized and detail-oriented. you must be able to deal with different types of personalities in a calm and professional manner. you must be able to work as part of a team.

hours:
weekend availability is required. this means saturday daytime/evening, sunday daytime/evening. most staff also work 1 to 3 weekday evening shifts. please apply only if you are available during these times.

compensation is an hourly fee of $20. all staff must first participate in an 8-10 hour training period (schedule tbd), for which you will be paid an hourly fee of $16.
