The nines is a dynamic supper club, piano bar and cocktail bar serving cocktails and small plates in noho. we opened this past january on great jones st and have enjoyed a wonderful public reception.
we are looking for a host to join our team to work the front door and receive and seat out guests. we are in need of a host on thursdays, fridays and saturdays.
our hosts are punctual, warm, poised, fashionable and understand how to seat the room, manage difficult guest requests and manage the reservations books. we use resy for bookings and seating management. our door team is comprised fo a maitre d' who manages the books and a host who supports the maitre d through the shift. this position requires a strong instinct for hospitality as well as a good sense of humor and a desire to engage with guest in a professional and impressive way through the duration of long shifts.
our bar serves until 2am all nights of the week. our kitchen is open until midnight thursday - saturday.
