senior support worker position available £11.50 per hour

delight supported living ltd, a nationwide domiciliary care company is seeking to recruit senior support worker to work in and around east dunbartonshire. if you are an enthusiastic and motivated individual, please apply and be part of our valued team. the successful applicants will work with the ethics of the organisation which focus on ensuring that service delivery is person centred in accordance with agreed care plan. main duties & responsibilities

. to participate in the preparation of meals with service users where appropriate

. to be involved in all aspects of personal care eg: toileting, washing, bathing, showering and shaving. assisting and ensuring high standards of personal hygiene at all times.

to assist with the daily running of the household eg: shopping, light household tasks and daily living
. to be aware of the health, hygiene and safety aspects of daily household living. ensure all functions are carried out with the minimal of risk to yourself and others. to communicate with service users, their relatives and other professionals to ensure the continuity of quality and safety in the provision of services. to undertake all necessary duties appropriate to the post. full time, 5 day working week with a 2 week rolling rota, (must be able to work alternate weekends).svq 2/3 is desirable but not essential as we actively support staff development. in addition all employees are given their own training schedule at induction, which outlines our commitment for the year ahead.car drivers desirable/must have own transport 30p per mile
