as their regional estates manager, you will be crucial to their continued success by taking responsibility for all the estate management activities within the south-west region. reporting directly to the regional manager, the successful candidate will motivate and lead all of their grounds maintenance operations within the region and continue to maintain high standards for both quality and h&s together with their excellent levels of customer service satisfaction.

the right candidate with have experience of managing a team, therefore have excellent team building and customer relations management skills. you will have a proven track record of identifying and securing long-term relationships with suppliers, from initial tendering to selection and appointment of our maintenance teams.

experience working within the housebuilding sector or green services environment (grounds maintenance, arboriculture, landscaping & estates services) is preferable, however what is important is the willingness and ability to do what is right.

main responsibilities

- achieving quality standards and revenue targets

- overseeing daily operations, managing workloads, and performance objectives

- ensuring all clients requirements & expectations are met in a courteous and professional manner

- identifying advanced works opportunities within the central region

- ensuring company standards and procedures are followed

- preparing and presenting to the regional manager & the board, monthly reports on operations, targets and revenue

key skills required

- excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

- proficient with microsoft office

- knowledge of crm systems is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided

- excellent leadership and decision-making skills

- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

- highly motivated, reliable, with the commitment to complete activities

- ability to prioritise your own workload and that of your team
