since 2008, this company has defined glamour in the world of timeless fashion jewellery and accessories, supplying high street shops, department stores and independent boutiques with their in-house designs that are unique, diverse and of the highest quality.

as part of their growth plans, they are looking for a creative, results driven sales executive to play a key role in the team, not only in delivering exceptional sales and customer service, but also in planning, organising and attending trade shows.

this is a full-time position in the office based in belvedere, kent. however, some weekend work and travel will be required for attending trade shows.

the role

- working independently as well as within a team to contact key customer accounts, process orders and manage sales targets

- seeking new business customers and upselling to existing accounts

- driving the trade show strategy throughout the year by working closely with the team to establish trade show objectives, budget and schedule

- negotiating and coordinate contracts, arranging trade show registrations, supplies and signage, ensuring appropriate decor to meet quality and brand expectations

- arranging and co-ordinating all exhibits, displays, promotional materials and goods are packed and delivered to and collected from various locations

- ensuring all aspects of a trade show event are well planned and run smoothly, attending, selling and managing the show

- following up activity from trade shows to activity maintain and build customer relationships

- assisting the marketing team with other marketing program execution, direct mail campaigns and digital marketing

about you

- proven track record of sales and/or key account management

- sales experience in a face to face environment as well as over the phone

- proven track record of achieving sales targets

- good communication skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels

- strong organisational and presentation skills

- ability to multi-task and manage several assignments at a time from multiple people

- ability to accomplish tasks with little supervision and follow through on deadlines with a sense of urgency

- proficient in the latest versions of microsoft outlook, word, excel, and powerpoint

- willing to work occasional evenings and weekends

- travel and nights away during the shows is required

- physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items with assistance

if you have experience of working at trade shows then this would be a distinct advantage

you must have the right to live and work in the uk
