Property manager - united kingdom, harrogate, north yorkshire

we are looking for a extremely flexible property manager to manage our 9 bedroom holiday let near harrogate. we need someone to be able to conduct changeover maintenance and ensure the property is kept at a high standard. we are looking for a trustworthy and reliable individual who is happy to be on call 24/7 (however, the number of call outs are few and far between, especially if the property is kept to a high standard). you will definitely be required at least once a week to conduct a changeover, however we may always ask you to visit the house on other occasions, hence the reason we need a flexible individual. if we do not have a same day change over, we are happy for you to complete the required hours around your schedule, as long as the house is ready for the next guests arriving.

the changeover maintenance consists of;

change hot tub water and top up chemicals.
check all lights appliances are in good working order.
check the fire alarms and fire safety equipment.
check items in house against a small inventory.

we require someone to be pro-active with general house maintenance, consisting of tasks such as;

solving and fixing leaks.

changing lightbulbs.

putting up radiators/shelves.

fixing broken beds.

small areas of plastering.

changing tiles.

however, we do not expect this person to be an expert in all trades. we just ask that if the individual is unable to carry out the task themselves, to be efficient in finding someone who can get the job fixed in a timely manner to ensure guests are not affected by the house issues.

previous experience and skills;

experience in similar roles would be of benefit.

skill level - advanced diy up to experienced builder.

however, we are open to all individuals and will consider anyone that applies.

all candidates must have their own tools and car.
