hours available are full time, shifts may vary. some ot during evenings and weekends on occasion.

pay is starting at $17 per hour.

primary responsibilities:

will be working in the shop on equipment used to repair ships

taking samples, draining oil and changing filters

there will be safety training on day one

receive work orders and work with customer supervisor to determine machines to work on.

greasing motors and chains

inspecting oil and sampling oil and greasing

changing out oils as needed

will drive pickup truck onsite

some physical aspects to the job; includes standing on a concrete surface for at least 8 hours a day, lifting and move up to 50 lbs, operating various forms of hand-held and manually operated power tools

job requirements and qualifications:

high school diploma or equivalent; directly applicable experience may be substituted.

mechanically inclined, with experience using hand tools for general equipment maintenance such as removing inspection covers, etc.

must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

must have a valid driver’s license.

will drive onsite work vehicle.

steel/composite toed shoes required
