hours available are full time, shifts may vary. some ot during evenings and weekends on occasion.

pay is starting at $17 per hour.

primary responsibilities:

  • will be working in the shop on equipment used to repair ships
  • taking samples, draining oil and changing filters
  • there will be safety training on day one
  • receive work orders and work with customer supervisor to determine machines to work on.
  • greasing motors and chains
  • inspecting oil and sampling oil and greasing
  • changing out oils as needed
  • will drive pickup truck onsite
  • some physical aspects to the job; includes standing on a concrete surface for at least 8 hours a day, lifting and move up to 50 lbs, operating various forms of hand-held and manually operated power tools
  • job requirements and qualifications:

  • high school diploma or equivalent; directly applicable experience may be substituted.
  • mechanically inclined, with experience using hand tools for general equipment maintenance such as removing inspection covers, etc.
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • must have a valid driver’s license.
  • will drive onsite work vehicle.
  • steel/composite toed shoes required
