Service administrator - united kingdom, farnham, surrey
working as a service administrator for a national business in farnham, you will play a vital role within the repairs department.
you will be coordinating all machinery repairs and estimates, working closely with 5 sites and foremen. as the service coordinator, you will be ensuring all machines are booked in and dispatched accordingly and updating customers on the progress of each job.
own transport required due to location.
to be successful as a service administrator, you will have proven coordination experience, working in busy workshops or garages.
responsibilities
co-ordinate 5 workshops, liaising with the workshop foreman on a daily basis to obtain updates on repairs, checking jobs are completed within the required estimate repair schedule time
keep constant communication with the customers and sales team to give them updates on all workshop jobs
update job boards and systems to ensure forward planning of all work
book in and out machines for repair
update spreadsheets, reducing the amount of time a machine is being repaired
arrange the return of warranty machines
create estimates and send these to clients
send over final costing for all repair works
invoice all work that has been completed
resolve all customer invoice queries
essential skills
proven experience coordinating workshops or repair centres
excellent communication skills
ability to work to deadlines
previous experience producing estimates and creating invoices
