Set-up associate - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco staffing is working with a client in north andover, ma! we are sourcing for qualified set-up associates to help with a food production company! this is a temp-to-hire role.

hours: 5:30am-3:30pm, monday-thursday
pay: $18.50/hr

summary of position:
the position focuses on accurately following product formulas to create kits that are ready for the batch
making process.
essential job duties:

understand all safety rules and procedures and follow them at all times.

possess knowledge of all raw ingredients.

issue quantities and lot identifications of each minor ingredient to the work orders.

monitor the quality of all raw materials used with specific attention to color, consistency,

aroma, texture etc and report any issues to group leader or supervisor.

fill out all daily paperwork and fill lab samples as required.

keep and maintain a clean and safe work area.

job requirements:

high school education or equivalent.

1-2 years of machine operator experience is preferred.

strong organizational and communication skills (effectively understand and communicate in

english).

trained in good manufacturing practices, basic allergen handling, wash down procedures, food

defense and haccp.

experience with operating material handling equipment including electric pallet jacks or manual

hand jacks is a plus.

ability to work in a fast-paced environment effectively.

must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.

physical & environmental requirements:

ability to stand and walk on concrete floor for prolonged periods.

frequent bending, lifting and twisting for extended periods.

the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
