we are looking for a talented duty manager to support the full arcade function at an iconic blackpool family entertainment venue. attention to detail is important, and you will ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the arcade and that our guest's expectations are exceeded. you will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day management is smooth and focussed. you will have solid experience in machine management and presentation.flexible hours and bank holiday working will be expected from this position due to the nature of the business. this is a fast paced, diverse role, requiring plenty of previous experience in a similar environment. this is a great opportunity with excellent long-term prospects and progression opportunities for the right individual.role responsibilities: to support the arcade manager in ensuring the following activities and to assume control of all aspects of their role in their absence. demonstrate effective management and control of all cash related activity. this is to include collections, floats and banking. recognise and manage the security risks to your business and ensure that safe operating practices are in place. this will include cash collections, banking, re-floating of the change provision and any exposure that the business may have out of trading hours. train the personnel required to operate your business. ensure that the experience of the visitor meets their expectation. develop effective relationships with our partners. this will include revenue share partners as well as supplier and support personnel. effectively manage the health and safety responsibilities within your unit. this will include daily risk assessments, reporting incidents and accidents as well as pro-actively reviewing your location to ensure we are compliant with all aspects of the law. ensure that the integrity of the building and infrastructure are maintained and ensuring the security systems in place remain operational including intruder alarms, fire alarms and cctv demonstrate effective machine management practices. this should be achieved by weekly practices which will include an analytical approach to the data produced and a consideration for trends and anomalies within the machine performance alongside a regular repair and maintenance schedule. demonstrate effective stock management practices. this should be achieved by developing effective relationships with suppliers in order to maintain cost effective stock levels and ensuring monthly stock reconciliations and reports are completed. maintain and present arcade operation to the highest standard. maintaining the company's commitment to the gambling commission, bacta and gamcare codes of practice. ensure that all arcade administration is processed and delivered in a timely fashion as set out by the company. to carry out any reasonable senior management of company request, including working at other units.you are a real customer focused duty manager and are looking for an exciting new position, then please get in touch with us today
