are you passionate about hospitality, business growth, entertainment and great food?! the 141 club is a new wedding, live music and eatery venue in barnsley. we want someone to drive the business in the wedding, functions and live music direction. we are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual for the events and social department, responsible for planning and delivering incredible events.
this role will include daytime, evening and weekend work, so we are looking for someone both passionate and flexible!
key responsibilities:
• assisting in the curation and booking of music acts, promoters and events
• helping to coordinate the events calendar including key, culturally relevant dates
• curating events, planning all logistics and working with suppliers
• working with staff delivery of events and customer experience
• capturing social media content
• managing and assisting with the production and execution of events
• managing local business network relationships
skills and experience:
• minimum of 2 years’ experience in events management
• solid understanding of event management
• knowledge of social media platforms
• keen interest in events, with the desire to take on all types of tasks within an events environment
• confident, articulate and highly motivated
• huge desire to learn
• experienced in a hospitality business is desirable but not essential
