Operations team members (x2) - united kingdom, east grinstead, west sussex

due to continual growth the diamond group has a unique opportunity for the right candidates to join a friendly office to assist running and growing our gatwick same day branch and warehouse services. this role is varied and no two days will be the same.

we have a fantastic opportunity for operations assistants on a permanent basis.

the purpose of your role will be to provide a high level of customer service and assist the general manager in the day to day running of the office. ideally you will have previous experience in same day operations control or a similar role but relevant training will be given to the right candidate.

main role responsibilities

· allocate work to couriers in the most cost-effective way

· take bookings from customers professionally & accurately and enter onto our in-house system

· proactively track & trace consignments through to pod and completion, keeping customers and informed of delays or issues

· deal with client’s operational queries effectively and promptly

- speak and allocate work to our drivers on a daily basis

you’ll need to have:

· a can-do attitude & the will to succeed

· a fantastic telephone manner & be organised!

£22,000-£25,000. dependent on experience and to be discussed upon interview.

monday-friday

09:00-18:00
