this privately owned café/restaurant that operates dine in, take away, delivery and outside catering services is looking for a competent chef to strengthen the team.
the menu includes breakfasts, signature sandwiches, burgers, chicken and salads and the delivery section gets very busy
the kitchen operates from 07:00 to 16:30 5 days a week and 08:00-13:00 on saturday.
key responsibilities:
maintain a consistently high standard of cooking and hit delivery/takeaway time targets
food prep and general kitchen duties
ensure that all food is packed to company standards
ensure compliance with statutory regulations & legislation including covid-19 regulations
menu design
we are looking for a reliable chef capable of working on all sections of the kitchen, with good attention to detail, calm under pressure and comfortable working with the owners and a small team. previous experience essential.
