essential responsibilities and requirements:
manage assigned patient’s therapies to completion; onboarding new start of care, ongoing clinical monitoring and interventions, discharge to term. pharmacist will provide therapy expertise to patients and nurse/mdo as needed.
provide support and manage psr duties – contact patients to schedule refills, complete call documentation, check compounded products, complete refill assessments initiated by psrs, check delivery tickets, and oversee all technician activities.
work closely with sales, intake and mdo to support pharmacy practice, ie contact mdo for orders and/or needed doc, provide clinical guidance to sales/mdo/nurses as needed.
work with warehouse staff and intake to ensure all daily tasks are completed timely and accurately.
must have qualifications/experience:
current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in ca
2-3 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience
monday through friday – 8:30am to 5pm
weekly pay on friday
three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full time offer
