we're looking for a people-orientated person that is comfortable engaging with customers in a friendly and warm yet professional manner. customer service is at the core of what we do, we can teach you the technical skills, but communication is key from day one.
the role is predominantly based at our office in melton mowbray but does include occasional on-site work. there is also scope for occasional remote working.
primary responsibilities
- provide end user technical support and assistance by phone and email
- escalate tickets to appropriate team members where necessary, whilst ensuring the customer is always updated
- record all activities within a psa & ticketing system and maintain accurate recurring billings
- occasional on-site work assisting other technicians with it projects and building up your experience to perform on-site work independently
- assist with planning and management of projects
the successful candidate will
- have a high degree of people skills, with a strong learning aptitude and a "can do" attitude
- have good verbal and written communication skills
- have an excellent work ethic with the ability to manage and prioritise your working time
- be able to remain calm under pressure
experience, knowledge & skills required
- ability to communicate with people from a technical and non-technical background
- have a wide range of foundational technical knowledge (examples include pc hardware, basic networking skills, windows 8-11 troubleshooting)
- hold a full driving licence
