Senior administrative specialist - united states, topeka

adecco is recruiting for a professional office assistant to work in a downtown topeka location. this position starts now, and will last approximately 3 months.

work hours - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm  monday-friday

hourly pay is $15.50 

professional office team, and a business casual environment.

plus- free covered parking in nearby garage.

position summary:

the purpose of the administrative specialist is to provide administrative, clerical, and receptionist support to the agency.  it will work closely with the executive team to ensure that the office functions efficiently and effectively.  answer phones, emails, greet visitors, sort mail, meeting prep and other clerical duties as directed. 

skills required:  

  • working knowledge of microsoft office suite.
  • use of standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, etc.).
  • attention to grammar and details especially regarding communications.
  • comfortable multitasking, highly organized, strong communications, ability to work with little supervision.
  • 1-2+ years of progressive experience in an office environment. 
  • high school diploma or equivalent
