Ui/ux designer - united states, burlington (iowa)
adecco is hiring immediately for a ui/ux designer fully remote with starting pay $40.89/hr.
this individual will bring curiosity, empathy, creativity, and strategic skills to bear in service of solving complex business challenges in association with our design staff.
in this role, you will work under the supervision of senior design team members to design experiences that span across physical appliances, digital interfaces, and iot systems.
what you will do:
• handle the ux/interaction needs including mobile and embedded ui designs. everything from low fidelity wireframes to high fidelity ui assets.
• create project deliverables such as storyboards, flowcharts, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs.
• create and organize design documentation and assets
• work with existing design and documentation to make continuous improvements
• participate in user research, competitive evaluation, and usability testing.
• with the support of other design team members, work with related personnel such as user researchers, industrial designers, and software engineers to create great product experiences.
• form alliances with people in technical and creative functions to achieve high-quality and consistent deliverables.
• provide implementation support to technical teams.
• manage your own projects on-time with process transparency
• work effectively with outside vendors as needed.

qualifications
• education: bachelor/master’s degree or bootcamp training (focus will be on portfolio and demonstration of technical skills and design thinking)
• experience with multiple design tools (sketch, figma, adobe creative suite, etc)
• strong communication and collaboration skills
