project manager

with the access team, you’ll work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with  team members to drive various projects forward to improve the customer experience and operational metrics.

as a project manager supporting the customer service team, you will be responsible for structured and rigorous planning and execution for the team’s initiatives. you will apply exceptional leadership, organizational and communications skills to manage diverse and complex projects partnering across several functions such as call center operations, escalations, installation operations and much more. high quality launches, collaborative project teams, and happy stakeholders define success for this role.

responsibilities:
  • create project plans (scope, schedule, budget, stakeholders, etc.) and manage the project team’s execution, identify project stakeholders and manage their expectations through the project lifecycle.

  • partner with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate planning and manage dependencies.

  • manage project issues / risks, facilitate escalations when needed to management, publish regular project status, etc.

  • run project meetings, represent the project team in broader cross-functional / management meetings when needed. 

  • the project team members accountable to deadlines and ensure high quality project deliverables.

  • ensure launch readiness (eg: go/no-go decisions), coordinate post-launch monitoring, be a trusted advisor / expert for the project management team, contribute actively to improving project management practices.

     skill/experience/education

    mandatory

    minimum qualifications:

  • at least 2 years of experience managing projects and using project management tools
  • at least 1 year experience working with data to uncover operational improvement opportunities
  • success working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and managing complex initiatives
  • experience w/ google docs, google spreadsheets & google slides
     
  • desired

    preferred qualifications:

  • experience with the telecommunications and / or internet service provider sector
  • experience with new product, process or system introduction
  • successful track record of documenting current state processes, and facilitating cross-functional process re-design sessions for improved efficiency, reduced costs, risk mitigation, etc.
