main duties:
food preparation process cooking and preparing high quality home cooked meals on our grill preparing vegetables, meats and fish for lunch/evening working with our team of chefs helping with deliveries and restocking assisting with stock rotation cleaning stations contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards. good knowledge of all sections
person specification:
understanding of health and safety understanding and experience of food hygiene practices good communication high level of attention to detail adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work positive and approachable manner team player qualities level 2 food safety awards minimum 12 months relevant experience awareness of manual handling techniques awareness of control of substances hazardous to health regulations (coshh) and chemical safety experience of kitchen equipment
