warehouse / customer service operative, harlow
a warehouse operative, with some customer service responsibilities is required at a harlow based life science company.
3cr bioscience manufacture and supply pcr reagents to a mainly european and north america customer base. 3cr bioscience are holders of patented technology and have been recognised as an “emerging key player” by prophecy market insights.
we are a rapidly growing organisation and are now looking to expand our team. following training, the individual would be expected to work independently and demonstrate a high level of organisation.
job type: full time, permanent
what you’ll do
shipping approximately 20 packages a week
preparing shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packaging lists, msds, and regulatory paperwork (internal template documents are available)
handling products at ultra low temperatures
setting up new customer accounts
emailing outstanding customer accounts
daily reconciliation of accounts, using accounting software
answering office calls, approximately 3-5 calls a day
ordering office consumables
general housekeeping of warehouse area
cleaning standalone freezers some manual handling
what you’ll need
gcses in english and mathematics or equivalent
a proven background in a customer service environment warehouse experience useful, however not crucial
what you’ll receive
salary range of £20,000 - £25,000 and a quarterly bonus is on offer for applicants who can demonstrate the right experience and attitude.
when you’ll be needed
this post is advertised for 5 full working days per week, from 08:30 to 16.30.
however, we would consider candidates working at least 4 full days per week, monday, tuesday, thursday and friday 08:30 to 16.30.
