join us in the role of pizza chef and enjoy the pace of our relaxed kitchen as you help to prepare food that keeps customers hungry to return.

our kitchen is a peaceful, calm, social place to work. mutual respect is key. we don't put up with any rudeness from customers & we don't call staff in on their days off but we expect full professionalism in return. our previous staff are often found at the end of the bar so we know we're doing something right.

we're an independent community pub in the east end. we have both a loyal following and attract new locals every week. we are event heavy. hosting drag cabaret, music bingo, dj's, folk music and a piano singalong which make the day go a bit quicker. we're looking for a social, fun, energetic, vibrant person to add to our fun nurturing team

we're looking for a pizza chef who has excellent pizza skills in your role as our new pizza chef you will:

be responsible to work in a specific section alongside other chef de parties
offer outstanding pizza’s quickly and efficiently
maintain a 5* food hygiene standards & stock rotation
performing other duties as required, including deep cleans

well organised
experienced- with 6 months minimum experience as pizza chef working in fast paced and busy restaurant
excellent customer service

hours

please only apply if you are available to work part time. hours will be varied, over evenings and weekends but chef will need to be available wednesday evenings.

additional skill and qualities;

- knowledge of using a wood burning oven

- health & safety knowledge

- experience of working in a professional kitchen

- experience in food service both front and back of house.

- barista / cafe style experience

- experience of cooking italian menus
