healthcare assistants - no experience required

we are looking for people who have:

genuine interest in working with a caring environment
good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work.
good numeracy & literacy skills
a basic understanding of the care assistants role in the care home
a willingness to develop professionally & participate in training programmes

role responsibilities

ensure the highest possible levels of care are provided – assisting clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual)
attend to the comfort, personal appearance and hygiene of clients at all times, including dressing, undressing, toileting, bathing, combing hair etc.
take and document observations of clients including weight, food and liquid intakes/outputs.
assist people who need help during mealtimes & assist with serving of food/drinks as required. set and clear tables and trays.
make beds and change bed linen, ensuring that client’s rooms are clean and tidy. ensure the care home’s resources are used appropriately.

job types: full-time, part-time, permanent

salary: between £10.65 - £12.33 per hour, holiday pay included
