adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an escrow officer opportunity in newport beach, ca.

type: contract 

pay: $41.14/hour

length:  one (1) year, with the possibility of converting to permanent placement
shift/hours:  monday – friday

notes:  this position is onsite

responsibilities for the escrow officer job:

processes escrow files by receiving and completing forms for deposit in escrow accounts, transmitting escrow instructions and other documents to lender., preparing additional documents and escrow instructions

closes escrow files by carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as receipting title insurance and recording fees from title officer and balancing file

opens escrow files and sets up new files with appropriate information

proofread and transmit title policies and other pertinent papers to parties involved

assists customers by providing general information on company escrow services

qualifications for this escrow officer job:

high school diploma or equivalent

five years of escrow experience

post high school courses in real estate principles and real estate law desired
