what your job will consist of:
your typical day will start in the local delivery office, sorting the parcels into your van before taking out your van to complete your delivery round. you will be given a hand-held computer device to capture customers signatures for deliveries, the round will take around four hours to complete. the hand-held computer will also act as your routing system making your delivery routes as efficient as possible. training will be provided which won't take no longer than 1 day. van, fuel cards and insurance are provided.
what we expect from you:
you will be an upbeat and self-motivated individual, happy to work alone but equally happy to work along within a team, always presenting a happy and willing face to the the different people on your round. you’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns that appeal to you.
requirements a full uk manual driving licence, with less than six penalty points. a uk passport is a must to insure your eligible for work in the uk.
a dps will be undertaken.
