Custodian - united states, greenville (mississippi)
adecco is hiring immediately for custodian with a local client in byhalia, ms. custodian performs essential duties with pay starting at $16.50/hour, plus available overtime.
requirements listed but not limited to:
sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space floors
empties trash and garbage containers
identifies needed repairs such as roof leaks and damaged dock shelters
replaces air conditioner filters
notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
maintains pest control devices and sprays pesticides, rodenticides, and herbicides
cleans offices, restrooms, and breakroom
mows lawn and trims shrubbery
operates toe motor to move hopper if needed
checks pump houses
paints fire lanes
inspects fire extinguishers
maintains walkways and sidewalks
other duties as required or assigned
for food accounts, the incumbent is responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action
requirements:
minimum 3 months of related experience
ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
