Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. you should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations.
responsibilities:
● mix and bake off morning production sheet
● frost/finish product for sale
● thoroughly complete jobs, evaluate for completion
● roast all meats to quality standards
● cut meats, cheese to portions
● make salads and recipes for lunch cart
● keep lunch cart stocked, rotated, monitoring and minimizing waste and spoilage
● make sandwiches and plate according to quality standards
● breakdown station, clean, label, restock
● prep carrots, zucchini, chicken pot pie filling
● following weekly sidework
● answer phone as needed, and input orders correctly
● assist sales/production as needed; may include helping customers, packaging products
and closing down sales area
● wash dishes according to standards and put away in proper location; includes lunch
dishes and dish room
● take out garbage and recycling to proper waste bins
● compost and discard all organic waste
● properly sweep and mop bakery using the standards that are in place
● keep daily paperwork: record wastes on waste sheet, fill out prep lists for next shift and
inventory of lunch cart
minimum 3 years of bahrain experience is a must.
