Community support worker - united kingdom, mansfield, nottinghamshire
jigsaw homecare are recruiting a 'community support worker' this role is for an individual that is dedicated and enjoys enabling service users to remain independent at home.
the role consists of the following:
domestic calls - general cleaning, including mopping, hoovering, wiping sides, emptying bins and laundry.
shopping calls - taking the service user in your car to the shops and assisting with their shopping and then putting it away for them.
appointments - picking the service user up and taking them to their appointment this could be at the hospital or to the hairdressers etc.
social inclusion calls - taking the service user out into the community for a couple of hours or taking them for a coffee etc. or staying at home at sitting with them for companionship.
_there is no personal care involved in this post. _
_ the post is based in warsop, edwinstowe, mansfield, sutton and kirkby so you must have access to your own vehicle and must be willing to travel. _
the post has great flexibility for part time and full time hours.
hours are 9am- 4pm monday to friday
_however there maybe an occasion you need to cover a sit from 7pm-9pm in the evenings. _
