we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join our busy and fast-paced accounts team.

as a key member of the accounts team, the senior purchase ledger clerk will have full responsibility for a section of our large purchase ledger. you will handle a wide range of purchase ledger activities. further to this, you will create and promote a positive and supportive environment within both the team and the wider office.

we want someone who is approachable and confident in their abilities.

some of the key day-to-day responsibilities of this senior purchase ledger clerk role include (but are not limited to):

owning and maintaining your section of supplier accounts.building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and working with them to resolve issues.reconciling statements in preparation for month-end payments.ensuring all suppliers are paid correctly, and all queries are dealt with promptly and conclusively.chasing and recovering outstanding credit balancesmatching sales reports to supplier invoicesprocessing shortage claimsthis an office-based role within our eastbourne facility. the hours are 37.5 hours per week from monday - friday. full training will be provided.
