we are looking for a trainee driver / hoist erector / truck mount operator to gain invaluable skills within our friendly professional team.

you will receive £12 per hour & qualifications plus overtime and benefits, with staged increases as training completed.

this trainee driver / hoist erector / truck mount operator role is 50 hours per week.

afi currently have a fantastic opportunity for a trainee driver / hoist erector / truck mount operator position to be based from our bishops stortford depot. the successful candidate will receive all the training required to gain your nvq 2 in hoist erection, class 2 hgv driver training and truck mount operator training. all training will be provided free of charge provided that the employee remains with the company for 2 years. the combination of the above training will help provide invaluable experience on our fleet of equipment.

the successful candidate for this trainee driver / hoist erector / truck mount operator position will be trained to their hoist erector nvq l2, class 2 hgv driver training and truck mount operator training, free of charge. however, this offer is made subject to you remaining in the company's employment for 2 years following the completion of your course. should you leave afi during the 2-year period, you will be required to pay back the full cost of the course.you will also receive an excellent training induction programme, including approved ipaf operator and load/unload training, machine inspection training, drivers cpc training, ipaf and truck mount operator training.we welcome applications for this role from candidates with an interest in developing their skills in the following areas: driver, hoist erector, trainee, truck mount operator, communication skills.
