adecco is hiring immediately for a new product manufacturing engineer with a local client in santa clara, ca. the npme is responsible for the commercialization of newly designed products and features, taking them from initial designs to volume manufacturing operations. pay for this position starts at $30.00/hour!
job duties:
review, evaluate, and modify engineering designs to facilitate manufacturability at the supplier level and in the client’s manufacturing operations
create change orders and provide design enhancements and kit structure to enable manufacturing
utilize teamcenter to access designs at all stages in the new product development process
all other duties as assigned
requirements:
bachelor’s degree
1-3 years of previous experience
knowledge of manufacturing engineering discipline, theories, practices, and principles
understanding of the engineering change order process, dfx (design for excellence) engineering principles, product development process, value engineering, engineering specification waiver process, producibility / manufacturability analysis
a knowledge of supplier and internal manufacturing processes and the ability to engage with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve issues
