due to the continued expansion of rapid platforms, we are now recruiting for hoist erectors to join our growing team. you will be responsible for the installing, dismantling and preparation of construction goods' hoist.
core functions:as a hoist erector your core functions are to undertake the building and dismantling of goods hoists ensuring all current health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times, so as to ensure our customers receive quality equipment and an unrivalled service.
key duties:undertake all works involved with hoists with regards to maintenance, preparation, installation and dismantlingensure the health and safety regulations are adhered to at all timescomplete installations and dismantles, working within the method statementcomplete relevant paperwork accurately foresee problems on site and be able to provide solutionscarry out inspections on machines prior to supervisors' thorough examination (schedule 1)keep hoist transport vehicles clean inside and outliaise with office regarding problems, missing/damaged equipmenttake pictures of all installationswear provided ppe at all timeskeep the yard clean and tidy at all timeskeep a written log of installations and dismantles working towards your nvq hoist installerwe would welcome applicants with the following skills and attributes: hoist erector, maintenance, preparation, yard operative, health & safety, communication, installations, dismantles, administration, construction.

essential skillsyou will be required to drive a company van for this hoist erector role, so please ensure you hold a full and clean driving licence. you must be able to work at height, and hours of work will vary, depending on the location.
