our offer;

we are offering a minimum of 12 hours per week to plan and run our live music programme. these hours should include at least one event per week usually a saturday evening, remaining hours spent on planning, organising and networking. should you be successful in securing more events, additional paid hours to oversee these events will available.

who would this role suit?;

this role would suit someone who is passionate about live music, enjoys working with people and would love an opportunity to work in events management. we are a unique setting and want someone to join our team who is enthusiastic and excited about working for a not for profit organisation and help us establish ourselves as a music venue.

main tasks;

• overall responsibility for all aspects of the planning and running of live events

• responsible for all sound and lighting equipment, to include technical set up, safe storage and reporting repairs. • event budget management, ticket sales and advertising via social media

• book and liaise with all event partners e.g. sofar sounds, sound engineers, catering suppliers and artists.

• recruit and supervise volunteers for events and ensure adequate staffing levels • responsible for the safe operation of the building during events and all compliance procedures, e.g., sale of alcohol, health and safety

• deliver a high level of customer service in welcoming and serving customers

• liaising with all departments to enable the centre’s businesses to run smoothly

• assisting other departments in the event of holiday/sickness
