as part of shawston’s growth and continued expansion plans, we have an exciting new position available for a dedicated internal sales resource who would enable shawston to maximise current opportunities to increase market share of the fire markets in location region. an ‘all round – hands on’ internal sales person. ideally you will possess a background from within distribution and have affinity with the product. this role would suit an individual who is looking to grow and develop with a forward-thinking company. the jobholder will proactively manage incoming business and chase new opportunities through effective quote follow up.

key responsibilities but not limited to: -

background and experience

• sales and business development executive – fire contractors

• covering the north west, working closely with our commercial manager within the hyde branch and external sales director.

• ideally the candidate would have a background from within the commercial pipework distribution market, and have success within managing customer accounts

• build and nurture long term relationships with customers

• able to demonstrate a desire to win in a competitive market

• always looking for creative ways to improve the business

• understand the motivations and needs of the customer

• commercial and business acumen together with strong networking skills

• enthusiastic, driven, creative and focused

• able to initiate, manage and adapt to change

monday – 8:00 until 17:00

tuesday – 8:00 until 16:00
