financial analyst-senior job requires candidates to have knowledge of advanced level of understanding of different financial systems.
responsibilities for jobs include but are not limited to:
provides financial analysis support to business unit management. the financial analyst will be part of the fp&a analyst pool and will work across sbus and fces to build wider relationships and business understanding.
develops specialized skills that can be utilized across products / contracts.
build and maintain financial models to aid in forecasting, cost estimation and pricing
ensure accuracy and integrity of financial models, data, and reporting
support budgeting / forecasting activities including collaboration with different teams, driving trend analysis and variance analysis, creating the budget presentation, and supporting materials to be shared with senior management
support development of management reports
prepare calculations for billing / invoicing
consult with internal and external clients
monitor investments and capital expenditures
support financial analyst leads and managers with rfp responses and pricing
document transactions in compliance with gaap, government regulations and client contractual obligations
provide reconciliations and other analysis to assist with internal controls and best practices
perform monthly close and gl-related activities
adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:
4 - 7 years of progressively responsible financial experience
prior experience analyzing financial data for a mid to large size organization and preparing reports for management is desired
advanced level of understanding of different financial systems
working knowledge of financial modeling and planning skillset
key enabling technologies:
hands-on experience in an erp (e.g., peoplesoft / oracle cloud), alteryx and visualization tools (tableau / power bi)
strong excel, word, and powerpoint skills
education/work experience: bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
